Peter Borg-Neal and Oakman Inns Nominated in Three Categories at the 2020 CGA Peach Hero & Icon Awards
Oakman Inns and Peter Borg-Neal have been nominated in three categories at the 2020 CGA Peach Hero & Icon Awards.
The awards recognise outstanding operators across the out-of-home eating and drinking market. This year’s award also includes new categories to represent the challenges of this year, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic that pub, bars and restaurants have faced.
Oakman Inns have been nominated in the Outstanding Entrepreneurial Business category. Recognising companies with fewer than 50 sites that have delivered excellent results, a great product and set high standards across the board, Oakman Inns have been shortlisted alongside The Alchemist, Dishoom, Hawksmoor, Inception Group and Pizza Pilgrims.
Oakman Inns Executive Chairman, Peter Borg-Neal, is up for two awards. Nominated in the category of Communicator of the Year, acknowledging top industry advocates and operators who have consistently and cogently presented the sectors case to the media, politicians and the wider public.
Peter has also been shortlisted as one of the industry leaders in the Individual of the Year category, honouring those that have stepped up and inspired their teams and peers.
Winners will be announced on Wednesday November 18th as part of a special virtual awards ceremony.
